That's what they've been doing! One and then 3 and then the others the following nights. Everything after 2 sucks. I heard that Carpenter is supposed to be coming back to do an actual Part 3 and end it... basically dismissing all the shite that followed.

That would be awesome.

I like Halloween 3. It's not the greatest movie, and it certainly has 80's written all over it, but it's fun. I definitely support it in theory, as the plan was to turn the Halloween franchise into an anthology series, with different unrelated scary movies released every Halloween. But people wanted Michael Myers back, and what is Halloween now? Just like all the other lame slasher series that were only good for 1-2 films and followed by dozens of lame, mindless, pointless films afterward. I'll take the first 3, even though the third is unrelated, but I don't care about everything after 3.

The original Halloween and Halloween II are untouchable in all of their cheaply produced, poor acting, and low-budget greatness.
Now, I have to ask about Rob Zombie's Halloween and Halloween II... am I the only one that thinks that they're worse everytime I see them?
I've seen Zombie's Halloween II like 3 times now, and I think I'm good for the remainder of my existance.

That's been the lineup for like the past 3 days around the clock, I think (with the exception of showing regularly scheduled shows like The Walking Dead) they just keep showing them over and over. Halloween 3 was on when I went to bed last night and it was on again when I woke up this morning.

interesting to read up on it now (never knew) that carpenter officially had michael dead at the end of 2 and planned on releasing a new halloween horror movie every year each having a different horror story/plot. after 3 bombed, he decided to bring michael back from the dead and scratched his original thought of totally different movies each year and just decided to continue the michael story.

it's one of the few sequels, espeically in this genre, that was any good.

I liked his version, it did drop off a bit after michael escaped from the hospital but overall thought he did a pretty good job.
