who would play the members (past and present) and who would play all the people from the grunge scene and music biz?


i only have 2 so far...

Eddie Vedder- Russel Crowe (i got that from the thread about crowe looking like eddie in that tailora lol)

Stone Gossard- Emile Hirsche (Emile could also be eddie)



so continue the list and i'll try to come up with some more

    Though this topic was brought up about 20 times on the old pit, I'll join in. I think this may be the first time for the new pit. However I'm going to put my own twist on my answers.

    Which living SNL actors would play Pearl Jam for a comedy film, if filmed in recent times (eg: no "young dan akroid", it would have to be them as they look today).

    Not all of them are 100% on, but I am limiting the selection a bit. :)

    those are pretty good except for Vedder and Matt. I think Emile would be a good choice for EV but I can't think of anyone for Matt.

    I reckon Jim Carrey could do a Matt (although I don't know if he was in SNL).

    the looks can pass off for hollywood and his voice is close enough too...maybe a little tweaking...i can see him doing a Cobain impression at the very least

    i dont see emile as ed at all... id prefer johnny depp or vigo mortissen (sp?)

    Johnny Depp would make an awesome Eddie Vedder.

    How about Aaron Eckheart (sp?) for Matt Cameron...He played Harvey Dent in the Batman Dark Knight movie?

    it would be a bio pic...and i was thinking as an aspiring film maker, that i would try to take on this task as one of those movies i would always aspire to make after i had a few feature lengths beneath my belt...but if someone beats me to the punch, i would want it to be a sean penn movie...


    the movie would also go much into MLB and the death of andy, and the grunge scene in general

    i also want to make mama-son and the man trilogy (is there a name to that trilogy?) movie. or make them as two 15 min (or so) rock opera shorts

    Well, I said Emile because I couldn't think of anybody. I really don't get "surfer/rocker" vibe from either Johnny or Vigo. Don't get me wrong, both are very good actors. It's just that I don't think they would be good choices. Maybe there is someone who is not famous out there who look like Vedder and can act as well.

    i just found this...it's a bunch of celebrities (and other things) that look like musicians...the first 3 are eddie...theres also jeff and a few others that could be in the movie
