The tears of the innocent have run dry.
Damaged?
Yes,
But not beyond repair.
I will pick up the pieces,
Making sure only to pick up the pieces of you.
Buried amongst the debris,
They are easy to find....
Like diamonds,
Touched by the light of the sun
I promise you'll be alright,
I promise that you will shine on... and on.
