Scared passenger or engineer?

I don't know why I forget the obvious truth again and again
I forget to hold that most positive future outcome in my mind
and then I could kick myself for
whatever I hold in my mind is what I'm creating
I don't know why I forget this obvious truth again and again!
it's like a bad habit I have to break
like biting my nails when I'm anxious
like forgetting my good fortune
like forgetting the cosmic train
it's always moving and what I'm dreaming of is it's destination
if I'm having nightmares,
it's gonna end up in Haunted Amityville
but if I'm having visions of love,
it's gonna end up in good old Annie-ville
my own cosmic train don't know any station but those I think about
and the energy train is always on the move
it could be on the way to it's best stop if I don't forget
this obvious truth again and again
