I've just had an epiphany! Any time you're listening to a classic rock station...if you hear a song that you know but you're not sure who it is...there's about a 95% chance that it's Foreigner!

Yeah, or Yes, Styx, Supertramp, Grand Funk, or the dreadful Steely Dan.

The only band on that list I can't stand is Grand Funk. I wouldn't go so far as to say I like Yes but I don't dislike them.

"You kids don't know Grand Funk? The wild shirtless lyrics of Mark Farner? The bong-rattling bass of Mel Schacher? The competent drumwork of Don Brewer? Oh, man!"

Much like the legacy of Foreigner itself, this thread refuses to die.

"Dirty White Boy" should have been a bigger hit.
It is time to admit that we used to rock like hurricanes. It is time to run for the hills and go round and round. It is time for us to shout at the devil. We've got the right to choose it, there ain't no way we'll lose it, and we're not gonna take it anymore.

Saw Foreigner once, even though Mick Jones was the only original member. It was cool seeing Jason Bonham play drums for them. Saw them with Styx and Def Leppard back in 2007.

I do like alot of foreigner's music though.

    Crazy Story!
My x and I were in Reno to see Foreigner.
We checked into the Hotel and started towards the elevators.
But not before I played a couple of machines.
I had won 250.00,All in quarters. So we had them in a couple of buckets.
As we were heading across the casino,I noticed that there was a man following our every move.
He looked tattered, and in Leather. He got on the elevator with us.I thought for sure we were
going to be robbed. We got to our floor and he stayed on.whew! Later...We go in to see the Concert,
and my x say's, "Hey Donna,Does that guitarist look familiar to you?" Thinking back,I would have given him the 250.00 for an Autograph.:lol::lol:
