I found out that my local library carries The Who's "The Kids Are Alright" doc, so I went over to check it out. Normally, you can check out DVDs for 1 week, no renewals. I take it up to the desk and the librarian scans it, gives it to me and says it's due back on November 16th.

I looked at her and asked if she was sure about that. She says yes - this video - The Kids Are Alright - is considered "educational" and therefore can be checked out for 3 weeks!

I looked down at the video, then at my 3 y/o daughter who for sure will watch some of it with me, and thought...educational? Yeah, that sounds about right

Most libraries allow regular movies to go out for 1 week and non-fiction movies/documentaries for 3 weeks.

What's a library
