I may be disappointed that they don't mix up their sets, but the fact that they are playing Little Black Submarines and Nova Baby so the setlists look good!
Still don't have a ticket, but will def be at the Milwaukee show. The hardest and most stressful part will be getting that frigging poster.
Poster for tonight is on sale at methanestudios.com already. $80 s/n.

So funny, they really haven't been on my radar, some twist in my head had them confused with Alicia Keys/Black Eyed Peas or something and just never really gave 'em a moment. Turns out I've been rocking out to a number of their songs for awhile now on the radio, just didn't know it was them! Friend scores tix and gives me a CD to listen to, and I'm hooked!
Think I had a similar twist a few years ago until a guy at work insisted I get Brothers.
People were asking if I was going to see Black Eyed Peas in March.
I spun my new Chulahoma record a couple weeks ago. Just glorious.

For anybody interested in Southern California, the Black Keys are doing a private show at the Sayers Club in LA for 98.7 radio. The only way in is to win tickets!
Bump. Anybody going to any of the SoCal shows coming up? I'm going to Staples Center on Saturday 10/6, and trying to get into this show, which I believe will be on Sunday 9/30. I'll be looking for a +1 if I'm lucky enough to win so I'd truly appreciate your support (by clicking the link!). Thanks so much!!!

Not the same with BK though -- they crush it live!
Incredible show in Santa Barbara Tuesday night and the EMEK poster might be one of my all-time favorites of any I own. Love the lenticular.
I think that might be the coolest poster i've ever seen, wow!

I'm heading to the Phoenix show tonight. How tough is it to get a poster? Do they usually sell out before the show or can I get one when showing up @ show time?

Not usually. I don't think the craze has quite hit the Black Keys. At the Portland show, they were still available at the end of the night. However, the Portland poster wasn't the greatest, and I like Guy Burwell.
Depends. Both the EMEK in Santa Barbara and the Mr. Brainwash prints in LA sold out before Tegan and Sara went on. I heard the first Mr. BW sold out in 20 min. Luckily, I got there early enough in SB (doors) and at LA2(~25min after doors) to grab both. Both of those were limited out of 175-190 though. Not sure about the run for PHX but their facebook does say "limited edition."

kasedog is totally right. It all depends on the artist. If you get in at opening, you should be ok.
