Last time didn't he promise that lobbyists wouldn't have a job in his white house...so I guess they aren't good enough for a job in the white house but certainly they are good enough to help him get a job in the white house. Why anyone supports this guy is beyond me.

it may not be in 2012, but I cannot wait until this guy is out of office.

As with any elected official, all we really vote for is the lesser of two evils, I believe Obama is definately the lesser of two evils. Besides, it was the Bush administration that left Obama this pile of shit to try and clean up. Dont ever forget that! I believe that his hands were tied when it came to the decisions he had to make. The rich wouldn't let him do what he really wanted to do, Help the lower and middle class American citizens. Sometimes Americans should jump out of their fish bowl and look at their f'd up situation from the outside-in. The states is full of amnesiacs, Just saying.

Bush certainly left a pile of shit but has Obama picked ANY of it up? Will another 4 years help him pick up more shit? I'm not convinced.

My question is, who can pick up that mess of shit in 4 or 8 years. I thinkit is going to take decades to clean up the piles of shit the Bush administration left in the White House.

The reason we get such terrible choices is because we support people in a lesser of two evils type of thinking. How about if you are libertarian you simply support the libertarian candidate...if you are an environmentalist vote for the person who best fits your ideals. Don't simply make it a two horse race and vote for the person who most fits your mold because they have a chance...that is simply voting against the other guy and it is exactly how the D and the R keep their stranglehold on politics and how we end up with people like Obama and Bush.
As far as the rest of it...every president gets shit on. Reagan had garbage to clean up, Clinton had a garbage economy to clean up, Bush had 9/11 recession, and a housing bubble created by government policy long before he was in office...3 years in he is STILL talking about the other guy...well then he simply isn't ready for the job. He knew the situation going in... and i refuse to feel sorry for him or anyone else who asks for the job. It reminds me when President Bush talked about how hard it was being president...seriously, I feel so bad for you buddy...I mean vacation after vacation and Bush still talked about how hard it was.

as to the part in bold, what did the rich do to fight him on helping the middle class and the poor besides fighting their tax rates getting raised? Is the only way to do it raising taxes on the wealthy and spending more money on a deficit?

What i don't understand is a guy blatantly lies about lobbyists in his administration among other things, takes tons of money from big banks, reforms health care to benefit health insurance companies, forces through loans to contributors...on and on and on...This is the type of person you get when you vote for the lesser of two evils...but you are right...we should support this candidate over anyone else because he will be the solution to all that is wrong...

American's who support the lesser of two evils philosophy get what they deserve. Two "evil"(not in a exorcist kind of way) people to choose from...hurray

    /rant
Now that I may have derailed this thing, apologies. Anyway you look at it, Obama is in wall streets pocket and people still believe in him...he really could sell a hot dog to a vegan and make them feel like he did them a favor.

Since lobbyists pay all politicians to support their special interests, Obama certainly wouldn't be exempt. Let's face it, all politicians are bad. I just think that Obama had good interests before the system wrecked him after he got into office.
