What's better, the song or the video? I have to go with the video.... and that's saying a lot because it's a great song.

pretty good. typical that they're sounding more and more mainstream but its still a good song nonetheless.

They really don't take any chances and that's why they have dropped from my list of favorite bands. Still good, just too predictable for me.

Edit: and for anyone saying a two piece band will be predictable- just look at The White Stripes .

Their entire sound is taking a chance. Name another band that remotely sounds like the keys....

Name a popular rock band in the 2000s. That band sounds remotely like The Black Keys. I don't want to turn this into a BK hate thread- I would just enjoy something thats more "out there" from them one day.

This is completely inaccurate. Name me another rock song that broke through popular radio that sounded like "Tighten Up." There isn't one.

The Black Keys have a unique sound. If anything, they've grown comfortable with their own sound and stuck with it, but by no means do they sound like any other rock band out there.

Thank you. I'm trying to think of any bands from any time that sound like the keys and I can't do it.....

Okay this is getting absurd and I am not hi-jacking this thread. I like The Black Keys and don't feel like arguing :D:lol:.

  • I wasn't a fan of their last album except for a few tracks and it looks like this isn't going to be any better either. Such a shame they used to be an awesome duo. I saw them live twice on their last tour and I was very dissapointed with their show. I miss the old Black Keys.

Ah well, some people enjoy it I guess.

I want a new Blakroc album...
  • Both songs are killer. Can't wait for the album to show up!
