    Yeah, it sounds like more and more it's going to be in LA.

    While San Andreas was the best game of the series, I don't really want to go back there right now. For me to spend $60 on this thing, it's going to have to be quite a bit different than GTA4...which I never even finished.

    I can't imagine in this day and age that they wouldnt give us a fresh new city.
    But then again, how many cities are there left where you can find a hooker on every corner? :P

    I think an international city like London or Rome would be fantastic. Other than that DC works.

    IMO GTA took a huge step back from San Andreas. That game was a masterpiece. I loved the 3 different cities along with 2-3 other environments (desert, mountains, rich 'burbs)... The game was so much more sandboxy and your 'guy' was so much more customizable.

    100% spot-on. My favorite GTA game by far. I expected a lot more out of GTA IV. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it but I still think San Andreas was the best.
    I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

    Even though they've put out some very risky material, I don't think Rockstar is up for that shitstorm of a controversy. :roll: :lol:

    They might be able to evade the criticism if they make an outfit be the sacred garments. :think:

    I think an international city would be cool too.

    Did anyone every play The Getaway? My mind immediately jumps to that when thinking of GTA in a international city... although The Getaway was much more cinematic, and less chaotic than GTA.

    Those 3 came out pretty quickly and maybe thats why I did not realize when IV came out. I am interested in V as long as its a new city.

    2 days and just about an hour until this trailer is shown. I can't wait but I have to until the wife gets home because she wants to see it too. The site will probably be swarmed and crashed like this one when alpine tickets were released. :lol:

    I really do hope they do a new city. I loved San Andreas though, they had LA, Frisco and Vegas, plus the big open desert area.

    It is pretty amazing how big San Andreas was and they were still able to cram it onto one PS2 disc!

    I thought that too when I first played it. I was so impressed with the map size when it came out.

    Trailer in about an hour and a half now.

    So this is pretty silly but I just woke up from a dream where they were showing the trailer, the first part was the map and they zoomed in from a far ways into it saying San Andreas, don't remember any other names in it.

    IV was a remake of sorts for III, a lot bigger, more areas, etc. Hope they do more than just the LA area. Was fun going around Frisco and Vegas too.

    And sometimes premonition dreams are scary. :lol:

    Trailer looks cool. It will be interesting to see how much the game has progressed (gameplay & graphics) considering how amazing Red Dead Redemption was.

    Cali has so much variety in landscapes and cities, the sky is the limit.

    Interesting.

    The narrator does sound like Liotta. We may even see some Vice City tie-in, perhaps.

    I like the Cali environment. It looks like we are going to get desert, beach, and mountains.

    GTA IV was a little dull IMO and a step back from the vast San Andreas.
