I had to check on Wikipedia what the bloody aussies were talking about (Wine box for anyone that doesn't want to have to do the same.. goon = plonk)

In France you can now get very decent wines in wine boxes..wines that are also available in bottles, in the middle range prices
(as long as you stay clear of Bordeaux: Bordeaux in a wine box will be shit wine ..but then Bordeaux is overpriced and only worth it if you go for the higher range anyway).
So you shouldn't ditch goon bags ..I'll try to bring some at Oktoberfest

back on topic...if what someone reported about doors being only at 8pm for gig at 8.30 (way to minimise the cost of open bar ), then we WILL need a pre-party!

Was there a final verdict on if this show is GA w/seats - first come, or designated seating? I was told GA by section when I ordered tix but have since heard conflicting news. Also what time do doors open? PJ starts at 8:00, but how early can we start utilizing the open bar/pre party?

according to lucy, seats will be assigned according to when you called to order your tix. she said they set up an excel spreadsheet to keep track and insert names, and then will take it from there. now, one may ask will it be based on when you first called and left a voicemail or when you actually spoke to her, etc.....no idea. that said, i am not too concerned...it's gonna be FANTASTIC no matter what!


the initial post about a pseudo-GA was my post, on info from lucy...which she later apologized porfusely for putting out there and clairifed it was false info.



good to know about the 8 PM! had no idea! hmmm....plenty of time for dinner. personally, i think i'd be up for a dinner gathering more than anything. after work, and then free drinks at the beacon, after-party....might be wise to get some food.

and that poster on ebay is legit? i saw someone post it the other day, wasn't sure. i definitely want a poster from this gig, such a special show! i am STILL bummed there wasn't one for irving plaza. this really is going to be such a spectacular end to the tour!

i dont think its the actual poster,,just the invitation sent out to members of robin hood (members b4 last thursday lol )

although i must of read it 50x so im 99.9% sure it says 8pm

cos the doors aren't until 8, if the show starts at 8.30 as stated elsewhere, that's only 1/2 hour..1 drink down, 1 for the show (people getting up to go to the bar in the middle of a show are obviously not that interested in the show..and fucking annoying to their neighbours..well..unless they bring back drinks for everyone )

so yeah, we need a pre-party... doesn't mean getting wasted (that's the AFTER-party ), just means hanging out with people..
