DirecTV losing Fox

I just saw a commercial saying that DirecTV is losing all Fox programs starting Nov. 1...has anyone heard about this? I can't lose American Horror Story!!!

    Fox today will set up a website called keepmynets.com to lay out its side. Fox broadcast stations, including KRIV (Channel 26), and Fox News are not affected by the dispute, but FX, Speed, Fox Soccer, Fuel and Fox Deportes could go dark on DirecTV if an agreement is not reached.

    That's crazy! I have Comcast so I'm able to watch FX, some good comedies like Louie and Wilfred are on it.

    These are usually just negotiating ploys. Fox is looking for a 40% increase in fees.

    They may even go a week or two without Fox on DirecTV ... but, they'll find an agreement at some point.

    Comcast, who owns Vs., played this trick with DirecTV for a few months and pulled Vs. from DirecTV (during hockey season no less), then they finally agreed and Vs. came back.

    FX and Fox are not the same, are they? Does Fox own FX?

    Argh I hope you're right. I'm tied to DirectTV since it's the only one with the NFL Ticket.

    So who's gonna let me watch AHS at their house while FX is dark??!!! :mrgreen:

    DirecTV is just pissed because Fox got a copy of the PJ20 Limited Blue Ray boxset and they didn't.
