  • Nadda!!

Only thing I'm seeing on FB is Patriot and Don't Cry no Tears with Neil Young.

  • Sister was there... Told me about Small Town and Patriot. But also a quote:

"Last night i got 30 sec into a neil young song and fucked it up. Tonight neil said if only u would have invited me to sing with u we both could have fucked it up!"

Pretty funny if you ask me! :)

Don't remember the exact order and all the songs. Here is what I remember:

    Elderly Woman
    Last Kiss
    I am a Patriot
    Society (w/ Jerry Hannan)
Tonight You Belong to Me (Regine Chassagne from Arcade Fire)
    Sleepless Nights (w/ Beck)
Don't Cry No Tears (w/ Neil Young)

*Pretty mellow overall. Enjoyed last night's much more. Society was great as usual. Hannan got to sing some of the lead and play the solo. The highlight was Patriot. Brought me back to listening to one of my first PJ bootlegs way back in the day - their first bridge school in 1992 when they played it (for the first time, I think).

Omg finally something!! Thank you so much!!! :D
No surprise Last Kiss was played. Every time PJ or Ed play we're told that is Maricore's fave song.

No worries. Yeah, he dedicated it to her as usual. Mentioned that she had two college degrees, which was more than he had. Then said that really wasn't saying much since he had none! Pretty funny. Also, he said something that I found interesting. He said that he thought Society was the best song from Into The Wild. Don't really remember him ever comparing music of his like that.

He didn't write Society. So this was a compliment to the author. Who sang with him tonight, Jerry Hannan.

Although he and I share the same opinion. I also think it is the best song on the record, but that is of course subjective.
  • Wow saw the show last year and a few other times. What a great night. The crowd was into it but not like a pj show. But with the lineup u cant blame the crowd for being diverse. Small town was a great start. Last kiss was amazing because the girl he sang it for was on the screen a lot of the time and she was loving it. He said sing it for her if you want to sing. I am a patriot was fantastic. Society and the uke stuff was very good and closing with Neil was perfect. You could see his enjoyment just playing with him. Eddie also came out at the end to sing with everyone else with Neil to The Youngbloods get together. A great night and the line up this year just made it an amazing day.

Sounds just like Eddie to build up his friends and fellow artists and Society is a great song BUT clearly it's not better than Rise. smiley-dance011.gif
