Greetings All,

Looking for assistance from some of you out there with more experience here.

I'm looking to ship a poster to the USA from Canada. It'll be sent in a standard poster tube. Any idea the approximate shippings costs for this?

Cheers folks!

Yeah, about $19. That was with $100 insurance and a tracking number, which is nice. I generally quote $20 CAN-US for shipping to make things easy.

if you don't care about tracking or insurance it's more like $8?

The tube needs to be shorter than a certain length, and they'll try to get you with the "we need to measure the circumference twice" Bull, but if you get a Postie who will do what you want, it's about $8 (AIRMAIL parcel). It's cheaper to mail to USA and overseas than within Canada, which is also bullshit!

I use Canada Post. To ship a print to the USA I would use Xpresspost Expedited. Costs around 18 to 24 bucks CDN. And it's insured for 100 bucks, and it'll get there less then 7 business days. Includes tracking number & all. Using regular poster tubes with the dimension of 3" x 24"?

Also let the other person know that customs may delay the shipment especially during peak times
