Super deluxe edition? How about an ultimate edition?

At first I was excited about the new stuff coming out, but then reading on, I noticed that if you want to have all the music, you also need to buy a record player and a tape deck… I guess we’re lucky they hadn’t taped anything on 8-track as well!! Why didn’t they put MTV as a VHS tape? There were no dvds back then! Seriously, I don’t mean to bitch, I know a lot of you are into vinyl, but a lot of us only have cd players…
A definitive version for me, would have been, sorta like Lost Dogs: CDs, all Ten demos –whatever the quality. All B-sides including Wash, D.F. Yellow Led. The X-Mas singles, which I can never listen to every year. The night pollution recordings (maybe for a later release?).
A separate DVD or even better for years and tvs to come: Blu Ray containing all tv performances SNL, MTV, Letterman (and other countries?). Personal footage taken on stage or behind! –Or even shot by fans! And the original Jeremy video.

Oh please let me dream it’s X-Mas time!

    the super-deluxe comes with 4 versions of ten the 2 vinyl (one remasters, the other remixed) and 2 CD (of the same content) so nothing to worry about there...as for the demo, yeah you'll need something that plays back a cassette but it's the item itself that is worth value there, not the music in it

    I think the vinyl is the same as the cd ...only on vinyl.

    Wahhhh. Deal. They'll be digital formats of everything floating around available probably before the shit even comes out. All you have to do is a tiny bit of research and you'll have everything in there. You don't even have to buy any of it and you can probably obtain it all. Save it.

    I was wrong you also get Drop In The Park on vinyl but this is how the band obviously want people to listen to it.

    I think that this is a great offering. Any PJ is good PJ. And from what I gather we are going to see each album being redone like this one. Can't wait for Vitalogy!

    My opinion is that the value in this set is in it's physical aspect, you'll have this "stuff" to look at, read, hold while you listen to the album. Much better to thumb through something like this than a digipak booket. Besides that you can buy a cheap ION turntable and burn your christmas singles and whatever other vinyl you may have to your computer.

    as long as Ten comes re-released in the tall cardboard CD box, i'll be happy.
