Costa Rica concert tickets - time off denied

I bought tickets for the San Jose, Costa Rica show (20 Nov) back in Aug. At the time of purchase all was well, but since then a deadline was moved at work and all vacation requests on or near the new deadline date were denied :evil: . I have managed to get a refund for all my travel arrangements but I don't know what to do about the concert tickets. The two tickets (Sec E5 (Black) Row C seats 1&2) were purchased according to fan club guildelines but they are "will call" tickets.The purchase price was 74,400.00 CRC (~$144US). The "will call" is proabably the big issue here. I have sent an email to their help desk but have not heard back yet. Any thoughts?

So let me get this straight. You got the time off then they reneged?

It seems to me that your company should reimburse you for the tickets if you can't get a refund or transfer them to another 10C member or something.

You are probably SOL...
If they will let you transfer them and you can't find a buyer in advance put them in my name and I will try and sell them at the gate to get you some money back.

Thank you all... I do have a buyer, but I am waiting on a reply from laboleteria.co.cr on whether a transfer is possible.
Words can't express how sad we are not to be going. I am sure it would have been right up there with the Gorge shows.

... so I sent emails to all addresses I could find and never got an answer back from anyone, including Ten Club tickets (I know they're not responsible, but I thought they might have a suggestion at least).
Bottom line; no show and out $140... but I still have my job :-)
