Where did you purchase the PJ20 book? From the 10club, mine came in pretty secure with bubble wrap & all.

    Amazon.
    Bit upset actually.
Even though I put something heavy to try fix it, it's still got a crease line.
They packed it badly, a box too big for the book and the wrapping in the box wasn't even around the goods.

I ordered mine through amazon also and their packaging on the book sucked. Mine was beet up also. RF
  • I ordered mine from Ten Club.

My first ten pages were bent over at the corner despite the pristine packaging. I was sad for about three seconds before I realized I'm never selling it ever, it'll likely fall apart from over reading by the time I'm dead, and in the in it's still a treasure to me.

Sometimes the publishers jack things up. Sometime the distributors do. Either way, I was ok after those 3 seconds.

i would contact them directly. they'll send you another (you'd have to send your back, though). they sent me a vinyl that was all jacked up...i contacted them, they paid for the return postage & took $10 off the price for the inconvenience.

Yeah, I agree, you should contact Amazon. Worse case they say no  Their packing for this did totally suck which was surprising since most of their other shipments have been well protected.

Same, I contacted Amazon. They were very helpful. They like to get feedback on their packaging too I think. In this instance, they were useless.

+1 on the shitty packaging from Amazon for the book. The dust cover on mine is pretty beat and the book is a little worn around the edges. A bit disappointed given that they usually do a good job of keeping the goods packed nicely but what can you do? And it's a book that will be read and re-read over time so I'm over it (the condition of my book) but still enjoying the read.

That said, Ed's ukulele songbook that 10C shipped came in pristine condition so in spite of the at times trying wait time and other shipping issues from 10C, they did a bang up job with that one.
