I heard someone today trying to track down Sitting on the Dock of the Bay. I believe he was from Southern Jersey.
I think I have the disk he is looking for and can get him a copy.... pm me.
The bootleg was called... No F'ing Messiah. It is truly amazing.

I'd love to hear the soundboard version of this one :)

similar to Falling Down and No Jeremy, I've had a shitty quality version of these song for years... including Dock of the bay...

Love all of them... but when I heard the xmas single Falling Down it was a real eye opener to what the words were!... I had never realised that my copy of Falling Down was so shit I couldn't even understand the lyrics... yet still enjoyed it... Now I enjoy it more.. bring on the crisper version of Dock of the bay! :)

Anyone watch 'Talking Funny' w/ ricky gervais, jerry seinfeld, louis ck and chris rock when louie shared his story about going to see a comedian back in the day and part of the guys act was singing a parody of "sitting on the dock of the bay?" Its pretty funny. Crude, but funny.
