Yeah, Escape From New York is a favorite of mine too, but didn't make my list. To be honest I should go back and add "The Thing" which is my favorite John Carpenter movie, and one of my all-time favorites, but I'll just leave it as it is, I already edited it once. I've already had about 5 movies pop into my head since I posted that, I would probably end up editing it 100 times before the day was done.

I like your addition of Better Off Dead.

Way too many to name, I love comedies but haven't put any up, they've been mentioned already.

    Dead Man
    12 Monkeys
    The Prestige
    Snatch
  • Godfather
    Godfather II
    Reservoir Dogs
    Apocalypse Now
    The Natural
    Bull Durham
The Last Boy Scout (cheesey, my favorite 'B' move ever)
    Star Wars (original)
    Army of Darkness
Waterworld (yes, mostly to spite everyone who lists as one of the worst ever)

Honorable Mention (and maybe most watched) goes to:
    The Big Lebowski
    Spinal Tap
    Shawshank Redemption
    A Christmas Story
    The 13th Warrior

Neither Jaws nor Shawshank mentioned yet? Interesting.

9 off the top of my head (and I would have had the Carpenter films in here regardless of them being listed previously)

    Jaws
    The Thing (1982)
    Shawshank Redemption
    Escape From New York
    Reservoir Dogs
    Caddyshack
Kill Bill - The Whole Bloody Affair (my way of getting both in for the cost of one listing)
    Eight Men Out
Flash Gordon (I don't have guilty pleasures, but this is the one that raises many eyebrows)
"You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

"I don't believe in damn curses. Wake up the damn Bambino and have me face him. Maybe I'll drill him in the ass." --- Pedro Martinez
