High Gloss finish for acrylic paintings

I want to create a very high-gloss finish on a couple pieces I've done. The high-gloss varnishes are just not doing the trick. Has anyone ever used epoxy resins on a canvas? Any suggestions or instruction on products and technique are much appreciated!
