Hello,

I live in São Paulo (Brazil) and I thought about seeing the concerts in Buenos Aires (Argentina). But I got shoked to see that there is a VIP sector! My gosh, Pearl Jam always was against Ticket Master and their abusive prices. It does not make any sense to me.

As a fan for almost 20 years, I really want to understand that.

In the end, I decided to see only Sao Paulo concerts,

Cheers,

Band has changed quite a bit in the last 20 years. They lost the fight to ticket master and now have to work with them.

A bit sad, but you can't say they didn't try. The system is what it is and they are a part of it now.
  • Fabiana..we all changed the last 20 years..when it comes to play this way or dont play at all to Buenos Aires,i would do the same thing..
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
    "..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”

The "campo VIP" section is not that much more expensive than the regular "campo" section, and as far as I know is pretty big, so I am not really sure how much of a VIP thing it really is... But yeah, ticket prices are crazy expensive too.

I do not know if it is a venue thing, Ticketmaster, or Pearl Jam idea but... it might actually not be such a bad idea because it splits up the GA section a bit. This will be good, because pushing and pressure in BA shows is quite crazy.

Of course, a better approach would have been to have a smaller GA section in front, which people could access on a first come first serve basis, and once capacity is reached, people arriving later could go the bigger GA section behind it. I have seen that in PJ shows in Europe. In this way people arriving earlier are rewarded.

I am still hoping TC members might get an early entry, but it does not look like that will happen. I will enjoy the show, regardless of where I end up being though!!
I am just a dreamer, but you are just a dream...
If I knew where it was I would take you there.

  • I'm from Buenos Aires, and i can tell you that there is NOTHING wrgon with it..

    first of all..

the difference in prices is minimum., i think it's something like 20usd (80pesos argentinos) and the other's band's (like u2, Sonic Youth, The Strokes, Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses, and others) charges you the double amount for the vip sector!!

besides.. the vip sector it's GREAT because it's the chance for us, the 10c members, to have a sort of advantage since they don't allow EARLY ENTRANCE
