Yes, Obama is as complicit as anyone in this mess. He is basically a corporate warmongering whore disguised as a left leaning democrat.

    Yup.

Not to mention he has no desire at all to reduce the military or bring troops home.

  • I was reading some of the comments regarding the video, and there was someone from Canada, God bless him, talking about a comparison of the tax burden between our 2 countries as far as the middle class goes. They have a higher tax rate on the middle class, as described in his point, and they don't have near the economic melt down that is at our feet at the present. I, in my ever so humble belief(opinion now), believe that it's not their higher tax rate that keeps them more economically fit, but our policing the world, literally finding things, skirmishes, wars, you pick the intrussion, that has us spending, and spending, and spending! How many fronts across the world are we in? Not to mention, and by no means secondary!!!, the human tole that this is having. I'm not saying Canada doesn't have it's arms stretched on some things around the world because they have contributed to the efforts, but not spear heading the protection of the world! I don't know, it's just crazy. And Peter King wants to go to war with Iran!!! When and where does it stop?

That is why I support Ron Paul. He is not perfect. Far from it.

But on his military/Anti Empire Building/Bring the troops home stance he is the only candidate in my lifetime that wants to stop this terrible practice.

I agree with you. But don't forget that Canada covers All their citizens with health care. So Canada is spending that money instead on their own people. But yes, Americans need a quick 180 regarding foreign policy!! And Obama with his recent rhetoric concerning Iran is not the president to make that change.
  • What is with all this unfair criticism of Obama lately?

Why are we judging him on his actions and performance? Shouldn't we be judging him on his pre-election rhetoric and charisma?

    Totally unfair IMO.
I knew it all along, see?

As bad as Obamas has been, I'd still take him over the senile old McCain and his half wit sidekick Palin.

You know things are bad in the United States when your two options are a centrist republican or a Palin/McCain ticket.
