I feel it's a relief not to be waiting for anything
there are enough lines we're required to stand in as it is!
    grocery lines for one
although those cost-cutting grocery chains make us put our food on their conveyor belt to buy it now
they get free labor out of the customers!
    took away some bagger's job,
another step towards complete automation and
towards eliminating humans from the grocery purchase all together
no more "Hi, how ya doin' Donna?" or
"Nice to see you Joe." chatter

Oops, back to "no waiting" as a topic
none of us want to wait
or, more rightly, no one wants to be required to wait
for, it seems like young people especially don't want to wait anywhere
because then they might have to interact with nearby people!
and they'd rather text someone two blocks away
even at a restaurant, my sons would rather play with their iphones than talk to nearby mom
mom asks such stupid questions like "How's school going? Have you met any nice people in your classes?"
    boring questions!
they'd rather watch some Youtube video or Youtube poop
yeah, that's what they call them

but, if the comparison is between living now vs waiting,
    hands down, living is better
I'm glad I'm not waiting for anything these days
    it feels lighter
even though, I have been known to have fun conversations with strangers while waiting occasionally
at bus stops, retail shops, and even the dentist's office
