2007 - Cleveland Indians make the playoffs. Lee has a horrible year, gets sent down, then called back up only to make relief appearances. Cleveland makes it to the ALCS where they held a 3 games to 1 lead before Boston came back to win the series (and eventually the World Series.) Lee was irrelevant in the series, but was still on the roster.
2009 - Philadelphia Phillies sign Lee midway through the season in hopes of repeating as World Champions. Despite going undefeated in the playoffs (including the only 2 Phillies wins in the World Series), the Yankees are World Champions.
2010 - Texas Rangers acquire Lee midway through the season. Lee continues his mastery of the playoffs through the ALCS, but loses both starts in the World Series against the resulting World Champion Giants.
2011 - Lee goes back to Philly, loses his only start in the Division Series, and the Cardinals move on to the NLCS.
The Bambino and the Billy Goat have company. Cliff Lee is a curse!

Finally some evidence that he sucks. I laughed when they had him warming up in the bullpen last night.

This is hardly evidence that he sucks.
Yeah, I'm definitely not saying he sucks. Just a rather odd coincidence that whoever beats the team he's on in the playoffs becomes the World Series champions. Red Sox '07, Yankees '09, Giants '10, Cardinals '11.

I think it's exactly that: a coincidence. He was great with the '09 Phillies going 2-0 against the Yankees so it's not his fault the Phillies lost. And he didn't even pitch in the '07 postseason against Boston so I'm not sure why you even mentioned that.
