So, they're putting out yet ANOTHER Greatest Hits/Best Of compilation? Are you serious, bro?

I love R.E.M. a lot, but, this is like their 7th hits collection. In my opinion, they should've just released the three new songs on here as an EP.

    A final "EP" would have ruled and been elegantly appropriate, but I guess this is probably what the record company wanted: "More bang for their buck" ...I'm eager to hear what their final efforts are regardless. Plus, they can now start releasing songs from their vaults: B-sides, rarities and live material.
