Thank you everyone for the wishes. I know I'm basically a ghost around here now but its mainly due to actually working (as opposed to showing up and putting in 8 hours), and just the general climate around here at times (wtf is up with those ugly different colored blocks?!?!). Also, as some around these parts know, I'm recently engaged and wedding planning is starting to become my second job.

Speedy- I troll from time to time, maybe I'll pop my head up for air a bit more often.
X-man- as long as PJ tours, there is a great chance of Speedypalooza II.... maybe in the sweet, airy, and visually stunning confines of Camden NJ.

I've also been busy flipping my posters and limited edition vinyls on EBay and Craigslist :D

    Wedding Plans!!!!
    WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Congrats!!!!!

I spent the weekend in St.Louis and saw Roger Daltrey perform Tommy, at the Peabody Opera House.

EASILY one of the best shows I have ever been to. Roger is 67 years old and sounds outstanding.

    Thanks again.

I bet that was an awesome show. Actually heard a rumor that The Who will tour next year playing Quadrophenia.
Thought about catching Daltrey in Philly but but my pockets are feeling more and more empty between home improvements and wedding expenses.

    Yeah..
Townshend and Daltrey are going to tour Quadrophenia next year...

Personally I wish they would go out and do a "Greatest Hits" tour...
    Thats just me...

Daltrey had some type of throat surgery in the last 2 years...
His voice is holy fuck amazing....He sounds incredible...For 67 years old...
He never stopped...He never took a break...He sang for over 2 hours...

    Good Stuff...

    Good Stuff...

We saw the The Who a few years ago when they had the new album. Philly was the first night and Daltrey sounded great but I heard as the tour wore on his voice got worse... could be what prompted the surgery.
And you mean he didn't point to the guitarist to play a long draw out solo so that he could grab a smoke and some wine??? ;)

Cool. Kinda unhappy I missed it now. Have to say though that I've only caught like one live event this year (sports, concerts, whatever) and that was an Incubus concert which a friend of mine won tickets to that included a meet and greet. And it was a pretty damn good show, plus the meet and greet thing was cool.
