Did anyone catch the speech at the democratic convention that used the lyric "born on third, thinks he hit a triple".

  • Someone once pointed at my shirt once and said "Nice Black shirt". Had to be a PJ reference. Had to be.

Yeah, I caught that, but what surprised me more is this "obama" guy everyone seems to be talking about...
  • I heard them say "go" once. Come to think of it they said "once" at least once. I knew the Dems and PJ have a great relationship but I didn't know it was so deep...oops...a little Freudian slip myself.
  • Enough with the sarcasm. I thought it might be relevant. You all need to lose the hipster attitude. Just trying to make conversation.
  • ill say it then : was ashton kutcher there too?

No worries. Some people just like to stir it up.

And I think that quote is attributed to Barry Switzer of all people.

    Yeah, it's a baseball thing.

It just boils down to some people think they had to work hard and struggle to get where they are when in reality they were born with all the privilages and means to get where they are.

Come on, no harm intended...sarcasm is the lowest form of humor, but I think it is pretty damn funny.

Seriously. Rule #1 don't let what people say on this Internet thing get to you.

I had always thought that it was a clever reference to GW owning the Texas Rangers...

May have been around before but the truer and more sarcastic line my Governor said was the second part the GW was born on third and then stole second.

Yeah, I think that's funny that it fits, but the quote was attributed to Switzer way before Bush ever bought the Rangers.
