Did anyone catch the speech at the democratic convention that used the lyric "born on third, thinks he hit a triple".

    I heard them say "go" once. Come to think of it they said "once" at least once. I knew the Dems and PJ have a great relationship but I didn't know it was so deep...oops...a little Freudian slip myself.

    It just boils down to some people think they had to work hard and struggle to get where they are when in reality they were born with all the privilages and means to get where they are.

    god damn you people, maybe he never knew the origin of that verse? i didnt know when it first came out, i found out like a few months ago. not everyone knows where each lyric in every pearl jam song came from, stop jumping down this guy's back! i probably would have thought the same thing had i not known that someone else said it first. chill.

    May have been around before but the truer and more sarcastic line my Governor said was the second part the GW was born on third and then stole second.

    Yeah, I think that's funny that it fits, but the quote was attributed to Switzer way before Bush ever bought the Rangers.
