    While i think this may get a little difficult play compared to our 'rate the song' thread, I'll bite.
    MMJ - Evil Urges > 8
    MMJ is my favorite band and i think this is their weakest release. Not to say it's still phenomenal.

    :lol: I agree, but I am much more into albums than just songs (and bet a lot of others feel the same). This thread may die off fast, especially if no one heard that Portugal the Man album haha.

    I'll give it a 4. Honestly, I really dislike the album and the band. Also saw them open for Primus...

    It also pisses me off when a rhythm guitarist is obsessed with tuning his guitar during a song... Nobody can tell that much if your guitar is mildly out of tune during a song. It's just a pet peeve of mine I guess. :lol: Portugal's guy was really into that.

    The Satanic Satanist....I liked it....wasnt mad on it....part ELO, part Polyphonic Spree, part Shins....its a good car album for me....not sure this constitutes a 'review' but wanna keep the post alive (your call OP!!!)

    I expected more from this album. The first single got me excited but overall it seemed like a lackluster effort. 5 out of 10.

    I'll give Attack & Release a 7.5. Solid album overall but not the Keys' best imo. Rubber Factory is my go-to. Next:

    Thanks for the bump! I have not heard that album but heard great things about the band. One of us should post a new album at the end of the day if no one reviews it.

    I always think Sky Blue Sky gets a bad rap and I don't get it. It's maybe too prog rockish for some people's taste I guess, but I love this album. Impossible Germany, Side with the Seeds, and Hate It Here are such great songs. Definitely an 8.5.

    Also, I didn't care for that JBT album. It was too over produced for me. I didn't find the songs all that memorable either. 5.5.

    I'll give Sky Blue Sky a 7.5. Has some of my favorite Wilco tracks but overall a little slow-tempo. I love Impossible Germany, Walken, & What Light.
    I'll need to give BOH a listen before rating

    Sorry, but this one bored me to tears. Easily my least favorite of their releases.

    7 of 10, solid but not outstanding. Liked I and Love and You a bit more.

    Oh this album so let me down....the funny thing is both Under Cover Of Darkness and Taken For a Fool to me are some of the finest moments of their career, maybe even their best two songs......BUT the rest of the album really sucks. Lazy, Tired and uninspired for me. Such a let down. 4/10.

    ok next album.....(my favourite album of the past year bar none)

    Let me assure you, this is the best album of the year. No question.....erm....i think.

    Wow, this album is pretty fantastic. Upon first listen I'll give it a solid 7.5. GOnna have to pick this one up!

    7 out of 10. I don't like when albums go over the hour mark, and that greatly decreases their score for me. I think albums are best when they are succinct and get to the point. I feel like they just put all the songs they recorded on this album, and did not need to make any selections. However, I do enjoy the music.

    And I will be checking out that album posted above. Next:
