With the few moments I had,
I went outside to sit quietly under the pine tree
there's a thick pine needle cushion on the ground around
mere seconds I had,
but with my eyes closed the scent of the tree comforted me
my friend alive, beneath me
above me, inside me,
surrounding me in the air
