looks like the Koch Industries has some explaining to do. Interesting report. I wonder if they are alone in what they did, or are other big corporations knowingly doing business with Iran or other countries that are on sanctions.
If what they did was illegal, I hope they go get 'em

that’s right! Can’t we all just get together and focus on our real enemies: monogamous gays and stem cells… - Ned Flanders

And we wonder why we're still hooked on foreign oil.
Why are you surprised. This has been ongoing for years. Hell Haliburton was doing it on 2005 and let's not pretent Cheney [Mr. Energy] didn't know.
1.--[Huntsman Corporation] Jon Huntsman, GOP candidate for President company was selling chemicals to Iran in violation of UN sanctions. Chemicals that could be used in rocket fuel.

3.--Halliburton Secretly Doing Business with Key Member of Iran’s Nuclear Team (2005)
http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php? ... va&aid=806
Scandal-plagued Halliburton, the oil services company once headed by Vice President Dick was secretly working with one of Iran’s top nuclear scientists on natural gas related projects and, allegedly, selling the scientists’ oil company key components for a nuclear reactor, according to Halliburton sources with intimate knowledge of both companies’ business dealings.
Just last week a National Security Council report said Iran was a decade away from acquiring a nuclear bomb. That time frame could arguably have been significantly longer if Halliburton, which just reported a 284 percent increase in its fourth quarter profits due to its Iraq reconstruction contracts, was not actively providing the Iranian government with the financial means to build a nuclear weapon.
I wasn't referring to the actions of the Koch brothers...more to the fact that as much as the Koch bros are thrown around on these boards as the evil puppeteers that I was the first to post an article...Thought people would jump at the chance.

These cocksuckers need to burn for this shit. Iran has already been linked to material used to make IED's Also General Electric was doing business with Iran but they did stop according to G.E.
Im willing to bet, well at least I hope so that the Tea party rejects any money or anything for that matter from these dicks. :x

No not at all. If they are guilty of this then they should be held accountable. Party affiliation or organization ties I could care less about. If someone is breaking the law or is engaging in un ethical business then I don't want anything to do with them perliod.
It definitely makes Koch, Huntsman, and Halliburton supporters of terrorism -not only did they knowingly, but willingly supplied Iran with products in the pursuant of nuclear advancement- they ALL knew that they were violating sanctions that had been imposed upon Iran.
Under the terms of the Patriot Act, the United States government has the right to seize the profits these companies made from their dealings with Iran. (Bet that would put a dent in the national deficit).
The Patriot Act would also allow the U.S. government to seize the financial records of these companies in order to trace how their profits were spent or donated; that probably has a lot of politicians shaking in their boots. (Bet you won’t see any of these CEOs being called before a public Senate hearing.)

whether they are held to account under the law remains to be seen. and i for one doubt that they will. the laws do not apply to all businesses equally. especially when you are part of the military industrial complex or the oil industry...
"Well, you tell him that I don't talk to suckas."
Where is the outrage about GE and HP doing business with Iran years after Koch voluntarily stopped?
Actually Its OBama that doesnt want to get off of foreign oil! He has denied our domestic natural gas production! Shale Oil!
He has denied drilling permits and expansion of drilling on land also
He has downgraded the coal industry!
So whats to say? Obama is at fault!
A man that stands for nothing....will fall for anything!
