just watch... I can almost guarantee that those new tracks will be "album only" on iTunes and Amazon

ideally...but is there an arena in Athens that could handle that capacity?

I would've taken either. I think it would've been cool if they would've closed out either at the 40 Watt or the Georgia Theatre.

And they wonder why people DL music illegally.

which in turn is the reason tracks are album only
That makes no sense. They are album only because of record co greed, making people buy music they already have. Most people, I think, are perfectly happy to pay the single song price.

kinda shocked E-bow is not on there, as it is near the top of my list for all time REM tracks.
Me In Honey is also a fav of mine, not on there, the list goes on.
Bang and Blame
Crush With Eyeliner
Drive
could have EASILY been a 3 discer, in fact, it SHOULD have been. You can't contain REMs career on 2 measily discs.
Lotus
Electron Blue
Leave
Bittersweet Me
Orange Crush
was lucky enough to be in attendance when they busted out Country Feedback in Burnaby, BC in 2008.
Glad uberlin made it, that is just pure classic REM, even though its 2011.
RIP REM
unbelievable band.
Snippet of one of the new tracks around the 2 minute mark.
And notice, use of the Drive video in the trailer, but not on the collection.
no single for those? pity
Impressive compilation.

(i know this is a year old post, fyi)
i think 'we all go back to where we belong' is great. fantastic way to cap off their career, imo. i didn't like much of their 99-02 era material, which this seem to fit in with sonically at least, but it's a wonderful, beautiful song.
document is getting the mo-fi vinyl treatment, eh? sign me up.
I still don't think I bothered getting the "new" songs from PLPHPTPG. The whole thing really struck me as a cash grab. "I know how we can make money - let's break up!" Wasn't really into "We All Go Back...".
This Document reissue does sound really awesome though.
