Check out what I found!
My wife and I are getting ready to move, cleaning out some shelves I came across this.
I know I bought it at a shop in South Philly about 10 years ago, but I totally forgot about it and just stumbled across it. Video quality actually isn't terrible for an audience VHS recording, haha.

Anyone here go to that show or interested in old concert footage? I don't have a need for this thing so would be willing to trade for something.
Yeah, back in '93 they played at the University Of North Texas' "Super Pit". To this day I still can't imagine what they were doing playing there. It's a little college town that to the best of my knowledge hasn't had any actual concerts other than Pearl Jam. The only other things that happens in the Super Pit are graduations, and college/high school basketball and volleyball games. I played a basketball tournament in there, so it's not a very prestigious arena. The town's biggest claim to fame is that Don Henley and Peter Weller (aka RoboCop) went to school there. Yet in late '93, when PJ was arguably the biggest band in the world, they played there.
Well his previous band did play in Denton quite a bit (not the Super Pit but the little clubs on Fry Street), so it might have something to do with it. So you're right, it may have something to do with that, but usually when bands that used to play the little clubs in Denton make it big they don't come back to Denton. They just play Dallas and the Denton fans go there. Flaming Lips and Tripping Daisy used to be a big part of the Fry Street scene, and once they got out they stayed out. I don't blame them. Anyways, Pearl Jam went there for whatever reason, and I have an audience recording and it's a pretty good show. Some interesting banter between Ed and the crowd, and Jeff told some story about Glenn Fry or some shit. I can't remember I have to go back and listen to it.
Do you have a VHS player? If so and you were at this show, this thing should be yours.
Cover the shipping and I'll send it on it's way.
