Went from the Seattle shows to Anchorage and now Homer - ran into a couple who went to the Forum shows in Seldovia of all places.

On to Denali for a couple of nights next.

I saw an interview with Ed, in this 1995 Spin article, where he mentions that he "maybe" wants to perform in Alaska.  So there's definitely interest.  It's just taking longer than expected.  Hope it happens in 2025!

So you're saying there's a chance........hmmmmmm.  If they don't make it to Anchorage in the next two years, it's probably not going to happen.

Alaska deserves a special performance for sure.  2-3 nights and a vintage 35 song set with multiple encores   I haven't been to Alaska yet, but I would 100% go for a special Pearl Jam event.

Time to fulfill that bucket list Ed. Play a few out of the norm places before fully settling in to your legacy act residency status in the go to markets.

They better do it before his voice gives out.  I'm guessing that's why they have more days off between shows now and they get to enjoy the cities more.

If Pearl Jam just does a few cities in 2025, I think Anchorage would be a very very great choice.
The place where the Sundown Festival takes place might be a good spot:  Cuddy Family Midtown Park

EDIT:  At one point the Cuddy Park was a nice spot, but recently I'm not so sure, based on the reviews.  But I think an outdoor venue would be the way to go since the indoor venues in Anchorage are limited in capacity.  And I think a PJ20 / Pearl Jam Week type show in Alaska would draw plenty of fans.  Count me in for sure!
