So i'm listening to PJ radio and Hunger Strike comes on (8-30-06). Ok i'm thinking cool. Unfortunately this is a horrible version of it. Had to look up who was singing Chris' part. It was the lead singer of Wolfmother. I'm not a huge Wolfmother fan, like some of their stuff but he destroyed this, sorry :(

  • i couldnt agree more. andrew stockdale is a good singer.. for wolfmother. but during that song his shriek is excrutiating to listen to
a wave came crashing like a fist to the jaw. delivered him wings, 'hey look at me now!'
  • Literally just caught this version on PJ radio and good lord it was awful. I thought it was a joke

It's best to stick to that LA 2009 version of "Hunger Strike." High-quality audio and, most important, Chris Cornell is the second vocalist!

Haha. Heard it this morning and thought the same thing. Meant to look up who it was but forgot. Thanks for posting this 10 years ago
