I teach nurses so feel free to ask me anything. Best bet is to study from the review books. Some of the questions on the exam are exactly like the ones in the study books.
I passed my NCLEX-RN boards eight years ago. My strategy was to focus on studying my two weakest areas (at the time, L&D and pharmacology). IMO, its impossible to cover everything! I remember being surprised at how easy and basic some of the questions were (many of mine went right to the ABC basics of airway, breathing, circulation). I also remember being surprised at the varying levels of ease vs difficulty on the test. If you study the NCLEX books I think you will find that you see some very similar material on the test. And at least you will be familiar with the format of the questions. I was by no means the smartest student in my graduating class, and I passed in 75 questions. Good luck!!!!
Good luck!!!! I took mine way back in the day before computers and it was written...what Carey said about ABCs is true...keep that in mind. Breathing, pulses, circulation...after (in light of) your education, you can use some common sense. Study like hell, but get some sleep, breathe, and pick what you think is the BEST, simple answer to stick with the ABCs. Airway, breathing, circulation! You will do fine, I wish you the best.

Thank you. I will do my best!
It will be fine!!! Please let us know how it goes. And, if you don't pass (knock on wood!!), you can take it again...try not to stress (I know, easy to say).

Have you found out your results yet? Fingers crossed for you
Not yet...but as soon as I do, I will let you all know. Keeping my fingers crossed too
Good luck! My wife is a nurse and I have never seen her so nervous/worked up as she was waiting for her results. Hang in there and good luck to you. I hope that you hear soon!

Also was noosing faculty (far more recently) in an undergrad and graduate program.
PM if you'd like.
Edit: Did I really type "noosing" faculty? I suppose that is how some of my students felt at times...
YAY YOU!!!!
Congratulations, A Little Bittersweet RN!!!
If it's anything like my Nuclear Medicine certification test, it'll be light years easier than the Canadian version.
Thanks, LVN actually. Planning on going back to school in the spring to start working toward becoming an RN.
