So 2005 My favourite side won a grandfinal... One of the best days of my life...
2006 they play the same team and lost by one point... one of the worst days of my life
Today is 2011 grand final day and they played highlights of the 2006 grandfinal. I Have no memory of it...

also why no two people remember the same event exactly the same way, our personal experience and thought process color our view/perspective of events. and memory? well that as much emotional and subjective as it is also a recall of actual life events.
