OK I listened to the Bam song. That's comedy and not music. I can't take him seriously. It's funny as hell though!

Going on a boat trip in about a week and listening to Joni Mitchell songs. It's the closest I can get to actually hearing herself sing her own songs, so I can't wait.

Went to Kristen Hersh on Sunday night. Great to see her. Going to The Rolling Stones on 22nd November. Got tickets yesterday(thought it would be a clusterfuck but no problems at all) for Nick Cave's q&a at the screening of his movie on the afternoon of the 1st of his 2 concerts(i'm going to both) here in December. My partner & I are kinda starting to worry what March is going to be ike here(the big concert month here) with a few concerts booked already. Oh & I'm going to Ryan Bingham & someone or other else at the Americana Festival here sometime. Not my thing but one of my partner's fav genres so figured I'd go along with him. Really should check the music out.

Tom Petty last night was really great.
Next up is 3eb on the 19th done place I've never heard of
Then PJ on 10/3 in STL.

I wish I knew how to use that bands in town act better. There's like 3 bands that are playing in the city that I can't remember who or when or where cuz that stupid app sends notifications when I'm too busy to pay attention.

Mastodon w/ Gojira and Kvelertak- November 2
Steve Hackett Genesis Revisited- November 21

Just saw Jack at Farm Aid. short set, but awesome energy. he can pretty much swing it from full out rock to country. Pretty much a combination of the two bands he was touring with two years ago. Which I though were both awesome but instead of getting different "shows" based on the female/male band it was a combination of the energy. Also he has a sick stage setup. Haircut was pretty rough though.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the hair cut..
But the show was awesome! A little under 2 hours. I was about 8th row in the GA Pit near the stage. It was a low stage, so the sigh lines were difficult, but I got lucky most of the night. He is a total rock star. Played almost all of the songs I wanted to hear, including Icky Thump and Missing Pieces. Also got Fight for My Love, from the new video. He goes back and forth from rockers like that to Hotel Yorba or We are Gonna Be Friends, which I am kinda scared to admit that I love both songs, and they are totally country. He doesn't have a written setlist, so it's awesome to see how he can start the next song, and the band follows, or he goes up to the member who starts the next song and they start it. They had a couple solo duels, which is fun. And they played a full song inside of Slowly Turning Into You, which was an awesome twist.

Nice, I'm having a real busy week, & was on the fence about whether or not I could get there, but based on these reviews, I'm going to make this show one way or another.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll post a review tomorrow!

Yeap, my dad took my brother (10 Years old) and I (12 years old) when 2 of his friends backed out last minute. Seated tickets in the 400 section of an amphitheater, I pretty much watched the tv screens the whole time cause I'm short haha.
I wasn't really a fan back then, but I knew Evolution, Daughter, and Alive. Played those 3 in a row in the encore and I have been addicted ever since. :D

Just saw Black Keys and Cage the Elephant last night - both were phenomenal, as was being at the rail to witness them! Next on my upcoming shows - Damien Rice in Toronto, PJ in Detroit, and Daniel Lanois again in Toronto :)
