LOL I'm in section 226 for $92 each including fees. I mean no disrespect to RHCP but I'll be happy in the rafters for that price, I wouldn't spend over $100 per ticket for them even if it meant getting closer. Plus my section is right above the stage.

GA is $400 per ticket. Couldn't believe that. Actually believe this will only sell out b/c stupid rich people will be in town for the SB and think this is part of the festivities. It's not like the rest of the line up is any good either. So, for an hour and a half of Chillis on a freezing cold night in the middle of Brooklyn - no thank you.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

Are they? It's my first Chili Peppers show. A friend I've attended several concerts with recently announced that RHCP is the last band on his primary bucket list (out of currently still performing, major bands that he likes) that he hasn't gotten to see live yet. And since this show is on a Saturday 2 days after I get back from vacation it kinda seemed like fate. Plus, one less xmas gift to buy

And I was happily notified today that I scored the following:
    Pearl Jam in Amsterdam
    Pearl Jam in Berlin
    Pearl Jam in Leeds
    Pearl Jam in Milton Keynes
AND Pearl Jam in Milan (ticket pending)

I've seen RHCP twice, and it's not crap.. If you enjoy their music you will have a great time. (Being front row definitely helped :D ) Flea goes absolutely nuts. Anthony and Chad have great stage presence and banter, and the new guitar player plays very well. Don't expect every song to be 100% true to the original recording, cause they aren't/can't be.

Debating about the Foo Fighters Feb 1st show now.

ROO and FIREFLY are on 8-)

WRONG. They were pretty fucking amazing when I saw them in Newark last year. When was the last time you saw them live?

Anyone in the NYC area, I have a single ticket for the WFAN Big Hello to Brooklyn show. Section 7 for face ($149.85). I can't make it :(

I finally saw Red Hot Chili Peppers for the first time at the Orion Music and More Festival in Detroit and I thought they were great. Sound was really good. It was possibly their best setlist of their whole tour in my opinion as they played almost everything I wanted to hear (Otherside is one they didn't play) and even threw a few Metallica jams (since Orion Festival is created by Metallica). I almost got kicked in the head by a few crowd surfers and almost got separated from my friend to a mosh pit.

For the first time in a long while, I have no tickets to any upcoming shows. I feel weird.

That said, I fully intend to get a ticket to Pixies at Massey Hall in Toronto on the 15th. Despite no Kim, I still want to see them again.

Also, Big Day Out here in Auckland in two weeks time, Pearl Jam headlining, Arcade Fire, The Hives, Mudhoney and loads more...

Haven't got tickets yet, but, would like to try and get to the Nine Inch Nails, QOTSA co-headlining tour here in March...
