Heart was good. Man, I had no idea the condition Ann Wilson was in. Wheeled in, wheeled out. Hard to see details since I was the back row of the arena, but from what I could see she looked old. Nancy, on the other hand, still looks 39.

Cheap Trick was ok. I obviously don't know many of their songs except the few big hits. It was all unrecognizable to me until the last 3 or 4 songs. And fuck, come on, stop with the drum solos. ESPECIALLY when you are the opening band.

edit: just saw some close up photos. COMPLETELY WRONG. She looks amazing.

when I saw heart last year, she would sit every other or every third song after midpoint . still sounded amazing regardless.

Heart is one of the most underrated bands. I just looked up a few vids on youtube, and it is sad to see Ann's condition. If you cannot stand, why are you on the road? Nancy is still hot though, and they sounded good. But it is sad to see Ann in a wheelchair onstage.

Yes, I did know that. I just assumed if they’d be on tour they’d only do it if she was mobile. But good for her. She sounded great (a few of the higher motes she skipped, but that’s to be expected).

I've been on a Descendents kick the last month. Saw them a couple years ago and seeing them again in July at Punk in the Park.

Had I not heard Devo kill on the SNL 50th music show, I probably would have never given a thought to purchasing tix. TOTR is a bucket list band -- I'm beyond pumped they're back from their long hiatus -
