That band grows on me the more and more I hear. Probably the only current rock radio band that I can stomach.

I agree 100%. I've seen them live before a couple of times and they always put on a good show. I used to listen to Alt Rock all the time, hardly at all anymore.

I have a live album by them called Any Last Words that is pretty cool.

I just bought tickets to see Ravi Shankar in Cleveland on April 6 and I couldn't be more excited! First time ever in Cleveland and a very rare live appearance, seeing as this show is on the eve of his 92nd birthday!

No gigs so far this year and I have other priorities so that won't change much. I have the small matter of two PJ shows in Manchester to look ahead to but unless The Mars Volta, Tom Waits, The Black Keys or anything with Nick Cave comes to Scotland this year it's going to be quiet for me. PJ will keep me happy though... ;)

I checked Nick Cave's site a few weeks ago to see if there would be any tour soon, but haven't seen anything either. I love him.

He is so awesome live, pretty scary when he looks in your direction too. I know there will be a new Grinderman album eventually but I remember reading that he was having trouble separating songs for both bands. I think Dig!!! Lazarus Dig!!! and the first Grinderman album had songs written around the same period and it was hard to tracklist both albums as there were forty or fifty new songs floating around. I'll be happy if the next Bad Seeds album is anything similar to DLD. He can retire the grandiose piano ballads for a little longer yet surely as much as I love them.... ;)

I saw the bad seeds a few years ago, front row. dream come true. Skinniest person I've ever seen. As much as I love the bad seeds, I would love to see a solo show, of just Nick, and the ballads. Grinderman just broke up! Nick announced it a few weeks ago I think. Fine with me though, I liked them, but Dig, Lazarus Dig! was so awesome, i'm ready for more Bad Seeds any day over Grinderman.

Nick Cave is such a captivating performer....he is like a macabre version of Leonard Cohen.

Nice. I saw him a few years ago on the DLD tour, on his 51st birthday. People were throwing gifts on stage, and he commented that he was 'disgracefully old' ;) He encored Stagger Lee, and the place went NUTS. Great show.
