Just came across this, If you can, please take a minute and check out what these peeps are up too and what they have created. These peeps are actually taking action, creating and helping.     yeah ... i had this idea about 7 years ago ... buy up a few blocks in detroit and revitalize a community through local farming and power supply ...

    anyhoo - there are a couple of threads on food justice and security, if you want to comment ... :)

    Excellent! This can work- it is working already in various places. Cities can produce large percentages of their own local, fresh foods. Havana, Cuba produces about 90% of its own fresh produce.
