Yield for me. The songs take on such a different energy live. What do you all think?

Pearl Jam (2006). Listen to a live version of Severed Hand and then compare it with the studio version. You can easily distinguish the difference. And that's just an example. Try to listen to the whole album choosing only live versions of the songs.

Agree with Pap - "Pearl Jam". "Inside Job" live grows to a completely different song, just as many others from the album.

  • Agreed again, Pearl Jam. Something not quite right with that studio album. Sounds flat...but love the songs

Another vote for "Pearl Jam" here... a shame IMO that they haven't played as much from it of late. Severed Hand and World Wide Suicide are great live. Also, Inside Job is the first song I heard them play live (Dublin '06) so that's another good reason!

Version of "Inside Job" played in Dublin '06 is IMO the best live version of the song. one of the reason i voted for "Pearl Jam".

While we're at the best live version of Inside Job, please give a listen to the Athens 2006 version. Hair-raising...

Binaural fo sho...i know so many people that straight up jumped off the pj moving train after yeild...I have to admit...until i herd binaural over and over and over from their live shows..i had a lil hard time with it myself...but know..its like...very very good...some of my favs to hear period now are grievance, light years, insignif, gods dice, etc etc...but for the main steam non/daily listener...its not automatic like the previous lps...
