Nothing but Rush on tonight on VH1 classic. I missed it last time they did this, but I think this is the first time they're airing the 'Time Machine' tour dvd from the Cleveland show. Was anyone on PJ forums there? I saw this show last summer in St.Paul during the state fair. Such a kick ass show, and hearing Moving Pictures front to back was amazing. I'd forgotten how great that night was, but its awesome watching this dvd. Can't wait to pick it up.

Also on tonight, the Rush documentary and Classic Albums 2112 and Moving Pictures.

awesome man. i thought this thread was gonna get nothing, but i know theres a few fellow rush nerds on here. Hows the extra footage on beyond the lighted stage?
  • Ha!!! I'm actually a GIRL!!! Is that possible??? A female Rush fan!? <gasp> :D

Beyond the Lighted Stage has about 90 minutes of extra footage - some additional live performances, including some with the original drummer before Neil joined; their pre-gig warm up routines; and then a dinner where they just keep drinking bottle after bottle of wine and get toasted - hysterical!

we saw Rush in Allentown about a year ago, and also in Hershey in April for the Time Machine Tour, it was just amazing. I am looking forward to the DVD coming out.

the dinner is hilarious. Its one of my favorite parts in the documentary. But there are a lot of girl Rush fans, and its awesome to see. I personally know none but there are plenty at shows. I can't wait till their new material comes out. They keep getting better and heavier too. :D
