    Wow that's awful. I have noticed the smell of the melons have changed a lot, almost a garbage smell to them now, which stopped me from getting them.

    I love cantaloupe its about the only fruit I eat ...

    when the spinach thing happened I stopped buying for a pretty long time but we've resumed eating it.

    2 meat recalls also last week and now today for e coli :evil:

    I too have noticed that melons have degraded in flavor over the years...

    love cantaloupe with vanilla ice cream... :(

    I've had some cantaloupes that may have been worth dying for.... :?

    That was in bad taste. Looks like I'm done buying cantaloupe for a bit.
