How good will the Blackhawks be in the next series when their top guys start showing up? Aside from Hossa, the Wild have done a great job containing their stars. It's Chicago's depth that's killed Minnesota.

If they show up, very good. Toews just got his 1st point tonight in game 5. A little concerning, but I'm not freaking out. Yet.

I don't think so. It ends Saturday. Isles have goal tending problems. Nabokov is so bad. Just look up the stats the Islanders have against Vokoun, especially this season. Pens are focused. I expect a blood bath in the second round with the Sens. It's going to get very chippy! Expect 7 games with that one.

The thing is when the pens focus on playing a solid game at both ends of the ice they seem to be solid defensively.

pen vs hawks final would be alright by me...

Ottawa is a nightmare for Pittsburgh.

Just because Ottawa made Montreal look silly at times doesn't necessarily translate to the next series ... and in many ways if it wasn't for Anderson, Montreal's lack of finish and experience they likely win that series ... Montreal was dominate in the first 2 games at home and come away with a split, was leading 2 - 0 in game 4 with 10 minutes left before a couple bad calls cost them the game.

Of course you could mean going to Ottawa is a nightmare ...if someone told me I had to go to Ottawa I'd have nightmares :lol::lol:.

I mean the most solid goaltender this season and a team who plays pretty soundly defensively and has good secondary scoring. Also to add, they may be a bit pissed off.

They clearly won't be a nightmare but it will be a good series. 6 or 7 games for sure. Penguins have had no problem with Craig Anderson this year.

Crosby barging through the middle for his goal was a treat to watch.
Okay he has the puck, there he goes,in the net
That play turned on a dime.

    Clearly how?
It isn't exactly like the Isles have had problems with Fleury.

Who's to say Fleury would even be starting in the second round? Pittsburgh played great defensively against Ottawa all season. Their secondary scoring showed up for them as well by sweeping Ottawa in the regular season.

Ottawa will spend the entire series trying to rough up Matt Cooke and have it be their primary focus. They tried doing that a few weeks ago and it failed.
