And is there anywhere more white than Utah? Certainly not Tampa which is very diverse.  But I'm sure you know all about it since you saw a guy wearing a pink polo at the rink or something.

I think most of these awards are subjective…the only award I’m certain of that went to the right player is the hart…McDavid was incredible this year…

Is the NHL the only league that allows trades and talking to potential free agents while the playoffs are still happening…how is this fair to the playoff teams?

I love this trade for the Kings.
In great position with the deepest farm system and huge salary cap flexibility combined with tyge expansion draft coming up to make some truly one sided deals.
Hope they can get two-three-four deals like this done to go with the youth movement and the few vets left.

Boo-hoo for the teams in the finals. .

This may come as a surprise but I really don’t care about your kings…I’ll leave that to the 20 or 30 fans they have…hehehe

They do fine for fans.  Watched them raise two cups since you beat them almost 30 years ago.  How many have you watched the Habs raise since then?
    None.

Glory days are deep (deep!) in the rearview.

I hope the Habs raise one this year, though, and their fam base can celebrate after the long wait.

Trades can happen in NBA (Celtics traded Kemba Walker to OKC a few weeks ago for Al Horford), but not free agent negotiations.

That makes sense…both the nhl and nba are bush leagues and the nhl commissioner is an NBA reject…

Both leagues should have dates set aside when trades can take place…once the trade deadline ends, then no transactions should take place until the playoffs are completed…

Dougie Hamilton has permission to seek a new team…assuming it’d be a trade and sign type of deal…love to see him in Montreal…

your in Boston?  Are the Bruins going to  be able to sign Hall.

Hall claims he wants to stay and said he's not seeking to break the bank on contract. (Rumors were he vetoed some other trade destinations out of Buffalo and forced his way to Boston, hence the relatively low return Sabres got.)
So its a matter of dollars, if he is willing to take something like 5.5M to 6M per year then I think he is back wearing a spoked B.

Good for Boston.  I live 30 minutes from where Hall played junior, watched him lead Windsor to a couple of memorial cup championships…I always liked Hall.  I know at one time Montreal was on his list, he grew up in a Kingston and thats not to far from montreal…good for the bruins…and good for hall…
