As this series was playing out that ^ occurred to me.
I doubt the Bruins will get swept in finals. Certainly could lose, but be very surprised if they got swept.
    This weekend we rock Portland

I’m hard pressed to see this team getting swept, but never say never.

Well...the Blues tried to ice their way to another OT tonight. Sweet mother of mercy. Oh well, I’m happy to be at 2-2. Ecstatic actually.

The Blue V SJ winner will win the cup...both are better than Boston, both have more than 1 line of production, both have better D...

The Blues and Sharks played a great entertaining game 4...and in Milwaukee, game 2 of the ECF looked like the Bucks played a college team...lol...the NBA sucks bigtime...

I'm not sure about SJ's goaltending.  But St. Louis goaltender Binnington has been pretty close to the best goalie in the league since he was called up in January...I do not think I've seen a rookie goalie perform this well since Roy in  86...

SJ is the high scoring team in the league.  If Boston faces SJ, they will not be facing an inept offence like Carolina.

Let's not forget Boston played a 7th and 8th seed to get there...

Boston is a good team...no doubt.  I was surprised they beat the Leafs...I thought the leafs were young and eager to make the next step.

I think St. Louis stands the best chance for 2 reasons, better goaltending than SJ and they do not take many penalties...SJ, on the other hand, is not very well disciplined...

They say an 11-day layoff for the Bruins? I wonder how that will effect Rask?  He is in a zone.

The layoff should help Chara...he is like 60 or something?

I will agree about goaltending for the Blues this series but I think you’re way off on the discipline angle. We (the Blues) have taken some really, really stupid penalties this series. I’m looking at you, David Perron. I get that you’re the guy who gets under the skin of the other club with being feisty, but you’ve taken some stupid penalties at key points in this series.
I think Jones has been really shaky this whole series. He had a good stretch in the third period and overtime of game 3, but beyond that he’s just been okay at best.
I do think the Blues take this series in the end, but it will likely take 7 and game 7 will be just a knock down drag out bloodbath.

Winner of game 5 wins the series, at least going by the numbers.
Go Blues, beat those damn Sharks!

All I can go by is what the CBC analyst say...and they have said the Blues have been doing a good job limiting penalties.  I'm not doing a google search to see if they are factually correct nor am I going to sort a bunch of stats on penalties on a team that I only know exist if they make the playoffs...

Watching the games and forming your own opinions > listening to the talking heads' opinions

Opinions are like assholes, anyway, everyone having one....might as well form your own.

Yeah man. Absolutely. I watch 2/3 of the Blues games over the regular season and all of the playoffs. I’ve seen a lot of stupid mistakes by guys like Perron and Pietrangelo that are not ones they made in the regular season. Perron starting shit hoping for a retaliation penalty has happened a couple of times already. I love Perron. Having a guy with his mentality could be huge in making a run, BUT he goes up to the edge of what’s legal and steps over at bad times.
I think Binnington is the type of goalie the Blues have needed fooooor like 51 years. They’ve never really developed a quality NHL goalie. Curtis Joseph is probably the closest. Then Bishop...who developer after we traded him. Binnington has ice in his veins and can walk the line between overly confident and arrogant really, really well for such a young guy.

StL off to a good start....still plenty of time for the refs to find a way to let SJ back into this one.
Perhaps their so called "defenders" will score some goals.

SJ appears to be running on Empty now.  St. Louis needs to finish them off at home.
