Getting swept hurts all offseason. Worse than not making the playoffs I think.
I say you guys make it to game 6 or 7.
That starts with a win tonight.
In 2014 the Kings skull fucked San Jose down 0-3 and I never thought it was going to happen -- until it did.

Was that the same year they had a 3-1 lead on the Hawks in the WCF and we forced game 7, which went to OT (and we ultimately lost)? Man that was a heartbreaker, but one hell of a series!

And also, didn't we have 2-goal leads twice in that game 7? I might be wrong on that but I do recall at least being up 2-0 in the 1st. That really was a heartbreaker... I need to stop thinking about it, lol!

Hope the Hawks at least get ONE fucking win tonight. Christ.

I can't believe the Hawks are going down in the 1st round for the 2nd year in a row. So disappointing....I was fully expecting a deep playoff run here. Still waiting for the captain to show up....

Will be interesting to see if they make any significant moves this offseason....definitely need to start getting younger on defense.

    Yeah, I'm sure that hurt!
Heart attack playoffs but ended up lifting the cup.

NBA that is an 8 week injury, minimum. Much less going back into the game.
Didn't know the NBA played with pucks.

Hmmmmm, It was as a joke. Could have been a ball, bat, knee, etc. Just Hockey players would have had an injury like that and gone back into the same game.

How is a team every supposed to have any sense of success when front offices won't give management a chance? This one and done crap is getting way out of hand. You can't expect a team to be successful when you're constantly bringing in new GM's, new coaches, etc every year or two. The players will NEVER get used to a system that way and the team is destined for nothing but failure.

I heard rumors that some of the sabres players didn't want dan to be their coach including Eichel but who knows if that is true. but I agree with you about teams firing people so soon after they hired them.

Or alternate non-conference opponents kinda like the NFL does. One year you play one division in the other conference, the next year you play the other.

I could get behind this idea. I dig it.

Up 3-0 on tberg's Wild. I'm quite shocked actually. I picked the Wild to represent the west in the finals. However, as a Blues fan, there's no feeling of easiness within me. If any team is capable of blowing a lead like this...it's the Blues. They love to break my heart.

I was actually thinking to myself that it's about time we came back from a 3 game deficit instead blowing a 3 game lead  1 down 3 to go!
    It's a hopeless situation...

    Yeah.

There has been full on mutiny on bylsma since november.

Murray, as gm pissed away a ton of assets.

They are at a big crossroads with this hire

I have to give some props to the Nashville fans. I was channel flicking between baseball, basketball and hockey last night and turned on the Preds game with 8 minutes left. The crowd in unison chanted Crawford, Crawford, Crawford then "YOU SUCK!!!!!!" It was pretty impressive.

3 goals in 4 games. hard to believe a team with over 100 points could get swept and dominated like that. Let's hope Patrick Kane doesn't take his disappointment out on any of the women in Buffalo (or anywhere else for that matter).
