Only in the NHL would a team play 5 games in 7 nights in the playoffs. Back to backs in 2 straight series??? What a joke.0

Awesome game by Quickie last night. What we all expect from him at this point. Is he the best? Sure looked good the first 2 games holding the NHL's highest scoring team down. The love he receives is the love that is saved0

Quick is great and all, but look at his numbers compared to Corey Crawford's numbers. Pretty similar, but for some reason Quick just has that reputation as one of the best goalies out there.....it's probably the name! Not sure why Crawford never gets any respect...

Stanley Cups are better than respect, and Crawford might see more coming his way.Indifference71 said:F Me In The Brain said:Awesome game by Quickie last night. What we all expect from him at this point. Is he the best? Sure looked good the first 2 games holding the NHL's highest scoring team down.

Yeah Crawford is good but I believe that after watching the Chicago run last year the reason he doesnt get the props that Quick does is because Crawford has more *shiny* parts around him. Was a question when I asked if he was the best, I watch a large amount of hockey but certainly not as much as some...and I am biased being a Kings fan.Indifference71 said:F Me In The Brain said:Awesome game by Quickie last night. Will anyone be paying attention to the IIHF World Championships starting up Friday? Cautiously optimistic that the US will be a dark horse.0
-
The Kings are going to fuck me. Pretty much perfect on the playoffs so far (Montreal over Boston).... but I have Anaheim winning it.
And no, I dont care about the "loser tournament" World Championships0 -
Looks liike the Kings and Hawks are on a collision course for the West! Don't see Minny coming back this time..."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience." Mark Twain0

No ... Most of the best players will not be there. Beside the best tournament was played in February.Vitalogensia said:Will anyone be paying attention to the IIHF World Championships starting up Friday? Cautiously optimistic that the US will be a dark horse.

I agree the talent level of the IIHF isn't near that of the NHL nor the Olympics, but I still get into it mainly just for all the other countries, I guess, and to see what some of the younger US guys can do.
Pens looking good out there, not unstoppable by any means but they are finally putting a complete effort together, I've been waiting months (if not years) for that.0 -
Damn Ducks took one back last night. Go Kings Go!The love he receives is the love that is saved0

Just found out that Martin St. Louis' mother suddenly passed away, so his status for tonight's game is unknown. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.0

Poor girl. She's a fool.drivingrl: "Will I ever get to meet Gwen Stefani?"
kevinbeetle: "Yes. When her career washes up and her and Gavin move to Galveston, you will meet her at Hot Topic shopping for a Japanese cheerleader outfit.
