Agree ... PP was brutal. Dustin played great the rest of the team played like shit tonight. Losing price was a huge loss, not having Weise tonight was another big loss for them he was outstanding in these playoffs. That's the way it goes ... Injuries happen.
No question losing Price was bad, but Tokarski did his job when he had to!
Do you think with Price in net in game 2 Montreal goes down 2-0. I don't. That was the difference in this series ... imo. Plus lets be honest ... Tokarski gave Montreal a chance to win, Price has the ability to steal a game or 2 as he did in the Boston series ... that ability to steal a game here or there is why Tokarski was an afterthought on draft day and Price went 5th overall.

Tokarski did a very admirable job considering the situation. But at the end of the day, Lunq is a world class goaltender and the Habs would have needed Price at his best to win the series. I thought taking this six showed great heart and character from the Habs as after the injury, I thought it could have been worse.
Great year for them. I don't like the new playoff format though. I don't mind two divisions, but I prefer more traditional conference seeding.
Damn hats off to Crawford. I was calling him a choker halfway through the last game. He won the last two games by making big saves. Game 7 baby ....I love our chances to go to the finals as much as we could have won the last two and Chicago steppd d up. Gotta love game 7s.
Wow, what a fantastic third period that was. You would think that with all those goals scored, it would be crappy goaltending, but that wasn't the case. That was elite goaltending giving up goals to ridiculous playmakers on both sides. Really fun to watch.

Could the kings take more penalties? Can't give a good team that many chances. Wild 3rd period coming up....this would be a heartbreaker to lose but we still have faith. Go kings go!
Crazy game. Of course its going to OT. Very great plays. A lot of lucky bounces too. Go Hawks!
Go Kings!!

what an awesome series Chicago-LA was. the 3rd period of game 6 was as good as hockey can get. Game 7 seemed a bit more choppy but still a damn good game. LA-NY so NBC has to be happy.

NBC is not happy at all. I just saw on twitter that Chicago had a 22.7 local rating last night and LA had a 4.8. That may get a little higher for the finals for LA, but nothing compared to the ratings Chicago would have brought in for the Cup.
^^^ Yeah the LA hockey fan crowd is relatively small. Plenty of rapid fans and the building is always packed but the average sports fan in LA isnt really a big hockey fan. I am still blown away by that series. Best one in recent memory in my opinion.
Excited for tonight to watch things play out. Will be interesting to see if Greene is out and Regehr is in. I think we should stay with Matt, he has played well and been very physical. Go Kings Go!

) A PJ dog collar vs. a PJ scarf? LOL I live in NJ now so am much closer to NY than LA...but I did live in LA for 20 years and go to Kings games every year throughout that time. I am always down for a wager although I usually lose. I am going to avoid betting on this series as I am going to be pulling my hair out with every possession anyway....no need to add to it.
MayDay10, I hope you are right and Greene gets a ride but following the Kings all year Greene was a healthy scratch a lot.

Shit Fuck, I live in jersey now too! Grew up in So Cal till I was 20. Would be cheaper for all of east coasters to fly out to LA for a game! Thank god my friends wife came thru or I'd be assed out! I didn't even bother asking my nhl connect for tix cuz I knew it would be impossible!
Yeah I was ready to drop coin on one of the MSG games but my wife still hasnt delivered and I cant commit to something until I know she and the baby are OK. Hopefully they both come through golden in the next handful of days and I can still go to Game 6 with my brother, the die-hard Rangers fan.
